Tell us your story by using our new app
20 July 2016
Transport Focus has launched a new travel diary app to help passengers tell us about their experiences of using Govia Thameslink Rail services during the current disruption caused by the temporary Southern Rail timetable.
Passengers whose usual train journey has been disrupted by this temporary timetable and would like to feed back their experiences, can do so by downloading the app and completing a short two-minute diary for every journey they make.
The diary can be filled in offline and this information will upload itself once connected to the internet.
How to take part
Email transportfocus@populus.co.uk and our research agency will send you your personal ID login and instructions on how to access the app.
The app is easy to install. You’ll be asked to complete a short recruitment questionnaire to log your usual train journey and time of travel. Once this has been completed you can start the diary. At the end of each journey, open the app to fill in the diary. Transport Focus would also like to capture your journey even if you travelled by an alternative train route or by a different mode due to the temporary timetable, so please complete the diary even if you did not make your usual train journey.
